   Hiya girls,

   Has anyone got any suggestions about what kind of 'announcement' we could make, to get an initial idea of numbers of guests who can make our wedding (Aug 9th 2011) before we send our official invites? what did you guys do? :) xx

   Hi Claire, my daughter just sent out the official invites about a year before the wedding (which was 14th Sept this year). She had mentioned it to everyone before that so they knew it would be abroad and in case people wanted to arrange holidays etc around it. If you are having your reception at Zaffrons, Stella doesn't need to know final numbers till late anyway - not like in the UK but I know we wanted a good idea to be able to budget. I am so jealous you have yours to come, you won't be disappointed, I wish I had another daughter so we could do it all again. Judith

   yes, we are having our reception at Zaffron and are so excited about it already! from hearing other peoples experiences, and the contact we have had with Stella already, we are sure we are going to have a day to remember! im glad everything went well for your daughter and thanks again for your help :) xx

   Hiya Claire,

   We get married on the 20th October - I am so excited i cant wait! We fly next Sunday - it really does come round so quickly. We booked it 18 months ago and the time has just flown by. We sent out Save the Date cards in the style of a flight ticket a year before the actual wedding and asked everyone to let us know by Christmas so we knew numbers etc. Then when we had an idea of who was going we sent them the official invites with all the info about the wedding in Cyprus. Hope this helps!
