Me and my new husband Si have just retuned from the most fantastic wedding and honeymoon in Cyprus that any couple could dream of! We met with Stella the day after we arrived and she is so organised and had everything sorted for us. She went through a few last minute details with me whilst Si discussed seating and food with Budge. What a great couple who are genuinely interested in your wedding day and making it so special. I gave Stella a few table decorations I wanted to use and when we arrived on the day of the wedding the venue had been transformed just how I had imagined it to be for the last 2 1/2 years! After the meeting Stella took me to the forists where I picked my flowers for the big day. During the week i then had my hair trial with Fanos and make up trial ith Zia - both are fantastic. I also got my nails done at the nail bar, all of which Stella had planned for me before my arrival. Everyone was so friendly, I felt like a cypriot chatting away to the locals.
On the day of the wedding my make-up and hair were done at the hotel and then Stella arrived with the flowers and began snapping away and has take some great shots. As we were getting married in the gazebo at the Athena Beach, Stella went ahead to organize the groom and the guests whilst I was looked after by the weding planner for the hotel.
The wedding was amazing and I can honestly say the best day of my life from start to finish.
As for the reception, the guests took the village fun bus to Zaffron which they loved and enjoyed a Pimms reception on arrival. It was then time to cut the cake which was exactly what I had asked for and matched the colour scheme perfectly. Food was out of this world and as Si's brother quoted' that was the best wedding food I've ever had'. It's so nice to give the guests a choice.
We had a DJ and also Greek dancers and the funniest moment was when they got Si and my brother up to dance. A must for all weddings!
A huge thanks to Stella for making the day run like clock-work and to Budge for the amazing food and hospitality - he even stayed to DJ 'Budge style' until way into the small hours making our day truly unforgetable.
